Dr Hemalini Samant is one of the best trained pediatric and neuro ophthalmologists and surgeons in Mumbai (Bombay). After having sucessfully completed her MS ophthalmology from JJ Hospital, Mumbai in "99 under the guidance of Dr. T.P Lahane , she went on to pursue her fellowship in pediatric and neuro opthalmology in Sankara nethralya Chennai. Later she worked as an associate consultant in the same hospital from 2001 to 2004 in the respective depts. There she gained the best experience in expertly treating, medically and by surgery a large variety of pediatric and neurophthalmology related cases. She has been working in one of the best eye departments in Mumbai at JJ hospital as an assistant honorary professor since Jan 2005.
